Level the front of your truck with a system that delivers 50% more front suspension travel than the stock Super Duty. The industries best coils paired with extended travel shocks increase control and comfort while an adjustable track bar, caster shims and brake line tabs correct the front geometry; all without breaking the bank.
The Super Duty Leveling System is designed for people seeking the best on-road ride quality on a budget. Utilizing Fox 2.0” internal reservoir shocks, we’ve developed a tune that delivers all around comfort and ride quality designed for on-road, in town, highway, and towing/hauling. The Fox 2.0s boast extruded aluminum construction with a clear anodizing for corrosion resistance, are fully rebuildable and are built with hour-glass bushings in the rod-ends. Fox builds these shocks with their legendary red shock oil that flows well down to -55° F. Unlike most of our suspension systems, the Leveling System was tuned with 20”, factory wheels on factory Michelin tires given many in the entry level, 2.5” lift market want the most bang for their buck and will continue to run the factory wheels and tires.
The truck will sit 2.5” higher in the front and have more wheel travel thanks to the lighter rate Carli Coil Springs. Extended, Stainless Brake Lines firm up braking and ensure there is enough line for the newfound travel. To round off the front end, we include Sway Bar Drop Brackets to recenter the sway bar in the new extended travel stroke and Caster Shims to tighten the steering. We recommend adding an Adjustable Track Bar to center the front axle; for those that do not wish to, we include our High-Clearance Bump Stop Drop to keep the springs clear from the contacting the factory bump stop given the slight driver’s side shift of a leveled Super Duty without a track bar.
The front will sit level to the rear and payload is maintained as the rear springs are unaltered in this system. The rear shocks are shared with the Commuter 2.0” system as they’re tuned around a modified factory spring pack. The rear will be more controlled and planted. This system can be upgraded to a Commuter System with the addition of a rear Add-a-Pack and Adjustable Track Bar.
Wheel and Tire:
On our 2.5” Ford Systems, we recommend 17”-18” wheels, no more than 9” wide with 5.5” of backspacing with Carli Fabricated Radius Arms or 5” Backspace with factory arms; 5” will require a bit more trimming. Tires, 37x12.5” will fit with some trimming; 35” will likely fit without trimming. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures. The ride will firm up as you go larger in wheel diameter. For more details, see our article on wheel and tire selection and tire pressures:/p>
